Guide Price* : £1,000

- Freehold land and roads
- Vacant possession
The property comprises a substantial network of freehold service roads and land lying along Springvale Road, Long Royd, Spring Hill Road and Clayburn Road, all forming a part of a modern industrial area. There is in addition a small area of disused land extending to approx 2,500 sq ft (232.25 sq m).
Grimethorpe is a heavily regenerated former deep mining area lying to the east of Barnsley and mid way between the M1 to the west and A1(M) to the east. The regeneration has been one of the largest European projects and has resulted in new housing and businesses including the ASOS national distribution centre and near to the property the enormous Symphony Furniture complex. The property lies alongside the Grove Park Industrial Estate at the junction of Park Spring Road (A6195) with Springvale Road.
In order to bid you will be required to provide proof of identification, proof of address and source of funds before being authorised to bid.
We will also take a hold on funds from your bank card of £1,500 before you can bid.
Please see our Online Bidding and Registration Guide for further information, but note that as soon as you enter your debit or credit card, the hold on funds will be taken and this amount on your card will be "reserved" for this potential transaction and the amount will be deducted from the balance of your bank account.
We recommend you enter you debit or credit card from 7 days before the auction date, to avoid the £1,500 payment being processed and the funds being "reserved" and held by our Sagepay provider unnecessarily.
Registration for bidding will close at midday on 29 November, after which we cannot guarantee giving you permission to bid at the auction.

* Generally speaking Guide Prices are provided as an indication of each seller's minimum expectation, i.e. 'The Reserve'. They are not necessarily figures which a property will sell for and may change at any time prior to the auction. Virtually every property will be offered subject to a Reserve (a figure below which the Auctioneer cannot sell the property during the auction) which we expect will be set within the Guide Range or no more than 10% above a single figure Guide.
Administration Fee The successful purchaser will be required to pay the auctioneers administration fee of £1,200 inclusive of VAT on purchases of £20,000 and above and £360 inclusive of VAT for purchases below £20,000. Other additional costs/fees may apply - Click here.

By setting a proxy bid, the system will automatically bid on your behalf to maintain your position as the highest bidder, up to your proxy bid amount. If you are outbid, you will be notified via email so you can opt to increase your bid if you so choose.
If two of more users place identical bids, the bid that was placed first takes precedence, and this includes proxy bids.
Another bidder placed an automatic proxy bid greater or equal to the bid you have just placed. You will need to bid again to stand a chance of winning.
